Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Garlic and Balsamic

I found this recipe on Pinterest. You can see the original recipe here (I changed it up a little). It was so easy and probably my favorite way to cook a pork tenderloin yet!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pork tenderloin (I use the pre-marinated kind for extra flavor. Plus they are the perfect size for 2-3 people). This time I used the garlic peppercorn one. But I've tried them all and all are good.
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced (the original recipe calls for a few more but I cut back since my tenderloin was already marinated in garlic)
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons of coarse salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Directions:
  1. Stir together the garlic, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Rub the paste all over the pork and marinate overnight.
  2. Sear the tenderloin on all sides on the grill, then grill on a piece of foil for about 20-30 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  3. If you don't have a grill, you can also prepare this in the oven. Sear the tenderloin in a pan and then bake in the oven at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until fully cooked.

We ate this with a side of bacon wrapped green beans- so delish! The sweet sauce from the green beans went perfectly with the flavors in the pork. Next time (if I don't cook the green beans again), I think I will serve the pork with a side of the sauce from the green beans. Either way, this was so, SO good and I cannot wait to cook it again!
